MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Our client a growing organisation, in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a Marketing Executive to join their busy team, at their offices in Cowley, Oxford.

Typical duties will include:

  • Collaborating with the sales team to plan, develop, and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns, focused on increasing awareness and demand for the companies products.
  • Take ownership of updating and maintaining the company’s WordPress website, ensuring it remains up to date, user-friendly, and reflects the latest information on products, services, and company initiatives. This includes regular content updates, image optimization, plugin management, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with the IT team or web developers when necessary to ensure a seamless user experience and optimal website performance.
  • Produce engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including the website, social media, blogs, email newsletters, and other promotional materials, ensuring messaging aligns with the company’s values and goals.
  • Manage digital marketing, including SEO optimisation, company social media channels, and email marketing, to drive traffic, generate leads, and nurture customer relationships.
  • Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and outreach programs to promote the brand and build relationships with potential customers and partners.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and other relevant metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, Business or related field OR marketing related qualification such as CIM.
  • Proven experience (at least 1 years) in marketing (preferably this would be in the renewable energy B2B industry, but not essential.)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
  • Proficient in content creation and copywriting for different marketing platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret marketing metrics.
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in WordPress Management, possessing a strong understanding of WordPress content management system (CMS) and being able to demonstrate the ability to efficiently update, manage, and maintain the company’s website using WordPress.

Please note you are required in the office each day, there is no hybrid offering available. Office hours are 9am -5pm.
