Our client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice with a couple of offices based in Oxfordshire. They are looking for a Senior Accounts Manager to join the team based in Witney.
Reporting into the Partners, you will be responsible for a varied client portfolio and responsibility for the development and management of a team, with duties of the Company to include:
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients, becoming a regular point of contact for their needs
- Managing a varied client portfolio which includes a mix of companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Oversight of the training and development of AAT and ACCA trainees
- Managing accounts preparation for all types of entities
- Leading statutory accounts preparation, audit and review of the work of others
- Element of tax planning, compliance and advice
- Involvement with the firm’s internal procedures and taking a role on certain committees
- Corporate Finance work, such as forecasting and Due Diligence
The successful applicant must have practice experience, will be either ACCA or ACA qualified with a broad knowledge of accounts, audit and tax. Preferably the individual will have at least three years post qualification experience and will be looking for a career in our progressive business environment.
On offer is a salary of £50-£55k, (depending on experience) good benefits, and hybrid working.
